Retro Space Images produces
and distributes CD and DVD-R computer data discs
containing hi-res (300 dpi or larger) images that show
the history of NASA. The discs contain many images that
have seldom been seen, and some that are probably being
shown for the first time. Considerable care has been
taken to produce the best image available for use in
these discs. Color correction and repair has been
utilized whenever necessary.
Production is continuing on future
compilations, with the goal being a disc produced for
each of the U.S. manned space missions since 1961.

OUR GOAL & OUR PHOTOS
The goal of Retro Space Images is to make available
hi-res versions of historic NASA imagery in a format
easy to use. I would also be interested in hearing from
anyone having related photographic material in print,
slide or transparency form that you might think would be
of interest for inclusion on these disc sets.
ABOUT OUR PHOTO DISCS
It is also important to state some basic information
about the performance of the discs. The vast majority of
the titles are burned on DVD-R data discs. These are
used based on the large amount of digital data they are
able to store. A DVD-R data disc can only be played on a
personal computer that is equipped with a DVD drive.
Most computers have this capability now, but it is best
to make sure before ordering. The image discs will not
play in a standard DVD player.
